Job Description American Wine Project in Mineral Point, Wisconsin needs a harvest intern for the 2021 vintage. We make low-intervention wines with cold-climate hybrid grapes. Ever wondered if hybrids make awesome wine? They do! Learn how to manage unusual grape chemistry, low-tech winemaking equipment, and work with grapes no one has ever heard of. The Midwest wine industry is still in its infancy and AWP exists to find out what these hybrid grapes are capable of. Also, we make piquette! Pack up your Blunnies, bug spray and bluetooth speaker and come help us this season!

We are a tiny team and would prefer someone with at least a couple harvests' experience, and some general lab experience. The harvest season runs from late August to mid-October. Housing may be available. Please submit your CV and a brief statement of interest.
